On the 8th February 2018, MUCCRI was privileged to host the UN Environment Regional Climate change Coordinator for Africa –Dr. Richard Munang- for a public lecture that took place at School of Food Technology, Nutrition and Bio-Engineering Conference Hall, at Makerere University. Over 200 people from the academia, government, and organizations attended the public lecture. Students from over 4 universities were in attendance. The lecture was titled ‘Making Africa work through the Power of Innovative Volunteerism’.
